Scoring

How Score Predictions Earn Points

Scoring has five steps and nothing hidden: you get 0, 1, 2, 3 or 5 points depending on how close your prediction was. No secret multipliers, no surprise deductions.

The points available from one match: 0, 1, 2, 3, 5

Scoring is based on the 90-minute result. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not taken into account.

There is no 4 — the table is deliberately built that way, so that nailing the exact score is clearly worth more than getting close.

The table

Points table

+5

Exact score

You predicted the final score exactly.

2-1 2-1
+3

Side and closeness

You named the winner and got close: one team's goal count is exact and the other is off by at most 1. For a draw you must have predicted a draw, the match must end in a draw, and total goals must differ by 1 — prediction 1-1, result 2-2.

3-1 3-2
+2

Correct side

You missed the score but named the winner or the draw.

2-0 3-1
+1

Closeness

You missed the winner but got close: one team's goals exact, the other off by 1.

2-1 2-2
0

Wrong

Neither the side nor the closeness condition was met.

Events

How weekly events change the points

Every week brings an event that changes how the game plays — Joker, Exact Score Hunt, Side Week, Surprise Match, Secret Rule, Against The Crowd and Classic Week. No event repeats until all seven have appeared.

Two limits always hold: no event ever gives more than double on a single match, and if a fixture is postponed after the lock, that week's multipliers are cancelled. Nobody gains or loses from a postponement.

Standings

How standings are worked out

In global leagues every week is a separate race; the table resets and everyone starts level. Your accuracy streak does not reset — it keeps building.

In private friend rooms points accumulate across the season. A week's badges are awarded when the next week opens, and when all of a league's weeks are done the top three by badge points take the season cup.

When points are tied, these break it in order: exact scores → side-and-closeness count → right-side count → total score proximity. So of two players on the same points, the one who stayed closer to the real results comes out ahead.

The form squares in the table show your last 5 finished picks in that league or room.

If scoring ever goes wrong, the affected predictions are re-scored once the correct result is known — which can raise your points but can also lower them.
